The Lelu (lee-loo) story starts in our family home. Home is a sacred place. Home is where we disconnect from life's hustle, reflect & recharge. For us, the peaceful and relaxing elements of a great aromatic candle just feels like home. Our passion for candles inspired us to create our own small batch handcrafted artisan candles for our family & friends.

Each Lelu candle is handmade by us in small batches with a special blend of coconut and soy wax, essential oils and naturally derived fragrance oils. We hand pour each candle into reclaimed glass we fabricate into one of a kind signature candle vessels. Lelu candles are sustainably made and completely recyclable, it just feels right.

What does artisan handcrafted mean?

Each candle is uniquely crafted (one of a kind) in grand rapids, michigan. Our sourcing and manufacturing process is driven by our zero waste mindset, and commitment to quality experience. Each vessel is created from locally reclaimed glass. We hand pour each candle with care.

Where is your glass reclaimed from?

We source our glass locally from our co-op partnership with Long Road Distillery, located in Grand Rapids Michigan.

What wax do you use?

Our wax is a proprietary blend of natural coconut and soy waxes, formulated for optimal burn and fragrance performance. We do not use wax performance additives. The coco/soy wax blend creates a smooth & creamy appearance, and releases fragrance with a nice slow burn.

What is in your fragrances?

Our fragrance oils are carefully sourced, 100% safety tested, ensuring our products are safe for you, your family, your pets, and your home. We use essential oils and naturally derived fragrance oils safe for use in skincare and beauty products.
